By Olafur Eliasson, taking a look back at some of the most impressive and still very relevant works of art from the Tate in past years, this vast installation of swirling mist and a mirrored ceiling, along with a sun made from hundreds of mono-frequency lamps. The Weather Project (2004), was an awe-inspiring environment that took it’s audience to a place unlike anything experienced before as a form of meditation.

By Miroslaw Balka, this eerie installation at the Turbine Hall in the Tate Modern is one of my favourite interactive works, the vast container void of all light required that the viewers walk to the end of the space and back again. Although it sounds simple, the sensory deprivation experienced made it a very alienating, fascinating installation to experience.
